What a neat thing to wake up to! You've made Leia and Han full partners in your fic with this chappie and I really liked 'She and her psychiatrist have talked about this,' as it would seem likely that even a strong person such as Leia would be strong enough in themselves to see the need to talk to a professional about horrific experiences. I can't imagine losing what she has lost, even though she gained a brother and lover and has as always her own career. Little Padme is reminding me creepily of River in Firefly, though perhaps that was authorial intent? Whatever, she is sounding cute in her flight jacket.

Hee! I like Leia and Han having a stable relationship of equals which is why The Courtship of Princess Leia is always a bit of an epic fail for me D:, but I digress, and I think that yes, Leia totally knew she needed to talk to someone about her (what I'm sure is) massive survivor's guilt.

As for Firefly, I've never seen it, but I did want Padmé to be a bit disturbing here, so I'm glad you think it worked! Because to Leia, she can't help but be disturbing (I mean, what girl would want to hang out with a teenage Dark Lord of the Sith? XDDDDD)

Ahhh...gotcha. I really do need to get around to watching Firefly one of these days. Everyone always says such good things about it! :D
