Hey C! *glomps*

You offered to friend me on FA, remember? (I finally left the site because the Jo-bashing got to be too much for me-- I haven't been back since and I'm so much happier).

Anywho, I'm still checking Moments of Love regularly and reading your LJ, so I'm sure I'll be back (You're one of the few Snape fans I can stand, anywhere. ;-) )

*happy huggles*

Ooooh, it's Lilypod! I was wondering where you'd got to! :-) I do agree, FAP has been growing more and more negative, and I don't go there much myself any more, save the Good Ship thread and the CS Movie!Hermione one. I honestly don't wonder most H/G shppers left the site, and now it looks like many others have, too:-(
I added you right back! :-)

I don't wonder either... I'm not "technically" a H/G shipper (I didn't see enough of the relationship to become invested in it), but I'm fine with it, and I think alot of their anti-H/G and anti-Jo claims are really malicious and ridiculous, and I just can't stand the heavy bashing over there (Although I was part of it sometimes-- I just felt like the site really brought out the worst in me, and just made me angry and miserable, and who wants that? So many people over there are really negative and cruel, and that's just not my scene-- I want to talk to people like me, who actually LIKE the books ( ... )

I want to talk to people like me, who actually LIKE the books!

That's exactly it! Constant negativity bogs you down, and it's very easy to get swept away with it -I think it happened to most of us who posted regularly. I for one do have criticisms of how certain things went in the books, but compared to what a huge fan of the books and the characters I am, that is minor. There should be a balance: room for criticism, but also lots of room for squeeing and love! :-)
FAP has slowed down a lot (except Venom); even the most active of my subscribed threads get a new post barely once or twice a week, sometimes none in weeks. I think it's kind of sad because I like the concept of FAP. Maybe if Venom would be closed down for a while the general negativity would fade.

I like that you explained why you like it, and refuting the general notion that you Sevione shippers are all pedophilia fans.Glad to hear the post was useful! I can't for the life of me understand those accusations because older man/younger woman is a stable in literature and ( ... )

I agree that criticism is fine-- I do my fair share of ranting about Snape/Lily (I know you dislike it too, but for way different reasons than me. ;-) ), but I would never goes as far as to bash the author, who is a real person, and who gave us the wonderful HP books, the way so many others do. It's just really cruel, and I see it in several "factions" of the HP fandom-- people just need to lay off Jo; it infuriates me when they rip her apart on the internet, when, had she not written the books, they wouldn't be able to get up on their high horses anyway. *rips out hair*

Oh yes, the Jo bashing is horrible, people calling her hack and stuff:-( She may not have written everything just as I wanted to, but hey, only I would do that in any case! I'd really like to say to the bashers that when they've written a series as successful as Jo, then they can call her a hack writer or whatever awful names they have for her.

Oh well, thankfully there are plenty of canon lovers and HP loving sites still! :-)

Woo-hoo! I love the way you portray Ron and Hermy-- spot on. ;-) If I may ask, do you have any more future projects in mind? You know I loved your Rose/Scorp fic; what do you plan on writing in the future? :-)

Be the womb! :-D

Aww, thanks, I'm glad you enjoy my Ron and Hermione:-)
As for fanfic, I have one more project that is already partly online ("Under the Nothern Star", SS/HG), but beyond that I don't have plans -at least yet. ;-)
Have you written anything?

No! I'm not nearly as talented, I can never think of ideas, and anything I do come up with seems to fizzle out halfway through. :-(

I might try your Sevione fic, just for the hell of it. :-)
