car has been towed. I apparently parked in a suspended bay last night at 10pm in the pouring rain.

£260 to get it out of the pound.

Can you appeal the charges in any way? I mean, was the suspension sign clearly visible in the dark?

we can but i'm not sure how much good it will do. Joe is going to write a letter this weekend. According to Joe, it should have been obvious to us as the entire side of the street has no parking today, but it was dark and very rainy.

I can sympathize...my hubby took my car in for at $24 oil change yesterday and left with an entire new breaking system costing $700...turns out if I'd waited another week I'd probably be dead in a crash somewhere with the kids :(
