how annoying that Candyland doesn't exist in the UK. An entire continent of children are missing out.

My sister sent a Candyland game back for my little nieces ($5 at Target!), and the littlest one plays it by herself, playing separately for her mother and sisters, and occasionally updating them on their progress. It's adorable.

awwww, thats so sweet. I wish Kail would do that. He has a boardgame based on the Very Hungry Caterpillar but he will only play it with me or Joe and demands that we let him play the way he wants to until he gets bored 5 minutes later and scatters the pieces everywhere.

When I first gave her the game, I played with her and her two sisters for a while. After a while, the three of us got bored and went from the living room back into the kitchen, where there was coffee and cake, while the littlest stayed in the living room.

About half an hour later, I heard this wail from the living room, "OOOOhhhhhhh, Aunt Sandra!" I rushed in there thinking something had gone horribly wrong, and my niece said: You got a really bad card, you had to go all the way back to the beginning!

I couldn't stop laughing, because I didn't even realize she was still playing. And she was so distraught for me! (But somehow, she does seem to win a disproportionate amount of the time, when she's playing for all the players!)
