It's sad to see the "Ex" finally realizing that she messed up badly. What's worse she dragged another person into her world of chaos and still continues to drag her knowing that she doesn't want to be with her. Oh I remember that song and dance well. Sounds like she wanted to keep you as far away as she could while still keeping you, but she messed up and you floated away, now she is trying to get you back, to keep you on that leash, but you are already gone.

I'm proud of you. It's hard to make a good decision for yourself when you love someone else, but you are doing it and that is very awesome. You are teaching HER daughter what a strong proud woman is.
