I apparently broke 1k with Arthur awhile ago and never noticed, so since I just broke 1,500, I feel I should do a relationship meme of some kind for Arthur Pendragon

Also applicable are my ladies, Rose Tyler, Nanba Io, and Rayfell.

i just have a lot of feelings, relationships are hard, meme, emotionally constipated

After their first confrontation, Toothless originally had the urge to poke at Arthur in a combination of a cat's impulse to bother non-cat-people and sullen resentment at being attacked, a kind of I DARE YOU TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT ME BEING HERE NOW! But after a while, as Arthur got less angry and offensive towards him, mocking Arthur with his presence mutated into just making fun of Arthur. And Toothless is a sarcastic tsundere! Making fun of someone who'll react in a good way and give as good as they get is entertaining for him! That's how he started to genuinely enjoy Arthur's company.

He likes that Arthur is respectful of his space and just talks to him about stuff sometimes. He likes the casualness of their friendship, and being able to do stupid fun stuff around him without worrying about how he looks, because pfft, it's Arthur, what does he know. Being able to hang out with a human in such a different way than he's used to, without all the overtones of COMMITMENT there are with Hiccup, is really good for him too ( ... )

QUINN FIRST, THEN LANCELOT.

Arthur... doesn't really have much opinion on Quinn, aside from thinking she seems nice? He's somewhat pleased that Merlin seems fond of her, and vice versa, because Merlin needs friends. He's not entirely sure how to to talk to her sometimes, because most modern things sort of just make him make confused faces (WTF IS JAZZERCISE!) but he doesn't mind talking to her when the occasion arises.

LANCELOT...... o lancelot.

Arthur's obviously pleased to see Lancelot here, because that's one more person he has that he knows he can trust. But since the last time their paths crossed, he's not as pleased with seeing him as he could be.
AND NOW IT'S TIME FOR MY INTERPRETATION OF THEIR CANON RELATIONSHIP: Part of him is jealous that he clearly also has affections for Gwen - affections that he's perfectly capable of expressing without repercussion (which also comes with the complication of Arthur wanting Gwen to be happy, because he cares for her). But he also still wants Lancelot to serve him as one of his knights.
But as far as camp goes, as long as Gwen isn't here to complicate things, let's just be bros, man. /gauntletbrofist

Rose thinks ZEX is a bit adorable, and finds him incredibly easy to talk to, all flirting aside (...though tbh she also likes the flirting).

ZEX has this thing where people either become his flirting partner or his not!child. Rose still straddles that line! (Hurna.) He cares about her and likes flirting with her, but whenever she is sad or in a weird place emotionally he just wants to talk about it and bake her something, which is stuff he does for his adopted people. Mostly, ZEX is floored by how young she is, even with being so mature and accepting, and when bad stuff happens he would like to defend her honor and cut a bitch, thank you.
