wow. this piece kind of touched something in me. can't find the exact words to describe it, but it gives me a good feeling. you managed to make the narrative more compelling than if there was dialogue, i think. but that's just me. :)

*pats* don't give up! like you say, practice makes perfect~ believe in yourself, okay? :) carry on experimenting until you find a style that you're happy with; doesn't matter what people may think.
