A lot of Singaporeans take for granted the comforts and convenience they have in Singapore. We have all taken for granted the safety, the food, the mix-and-match culture, and stubborness in accepting that we are in a different region, amidst a different culture. my only wish is that people smile more and just ease it up when on the trains/buses... that's the difference i see overseas is that people just take it easy... along with the complains... s'poreans are just a little too uptight.

any trip can be made a good one, regardless of waiting times or crowds ... all u need is a smile :D

Problem is, you can smile at someone on the train, and they think you're a pervert. Especially the older ladies :P

Still, in order to get from Dover to Yio Chu Kang for example, it's still better to take the train (if you're in a hurry... more than taking the bus, haha).
