I'm normally not one to hold a grudge, but I just realised that I can be an incredibly bitter person, about something, or someone. Resentful, bitter, and constantly angry about something or someone I have no control over. It usually starts off small, then grows into something massive. Then it churns and churns inside me like butter. Only that I'm ( Read more... )

That person didn't. And I know you can. It's easier being engaged and apart than married and apart; ask any military wife.

Oh my dear... I'm so sorry to hear that. But as for making me feel better, that's bull. How can I feel better after reading such a story? Couldn't you have appealed? They were jumping to conclusions, weren't they? Couldn't your guy have contacted his congressman or something? This is injustice! And their decision is really stupid.

Our K1 also took us two years in waiting time, but that's nothing compared to your situation, and I'm really, really sorry something like this happened to you. Oh babe.. wish I could give you a biiiig hug right now. :(

But thanks, despite your own problems, for your support, I truly appreciate it. *HUUUUUUUUUGS*

@XXlyn

I'm sorry to hear that. I think the hype generated around the US in media and actual reality is in severe disconnect.

@Perlinn

I know it doesn't sound fair, but that is what goes on in real life. Having worked in corporations for a little, you start to see that its a rich man's world. In Singapore's case, there are long lines of foreign labour willing to take over the miserable joy and pay.

No point having a conscience/being ethical when it is not to your benefit. Case in point, look at that woman who did that VWP and stuff.
