I'mma interfere with your face if you don't fix Jak!
[And then Praxis reaches for him and Daxter does a very dramatic but effective hop away, skittering more towards the head of the bed, opposite the tyrant.]
[Daxter throws a very, very obvious "fuck you" look at Praxis.
...but it might help this...robot thing heal Jak. And that Remy guy over there is Jak's friend, too.]
...me n' Jak went into the Carnival with that Herz guy. Said he was looking for his mom, but we got attacked by one of those bear things. Jak got hurt, and...we started going down into this tunnel.
[Daxter's ears lay flat at the memory.] ...we shouldn'tve. It's...it's not good in there. The whole place is completely... But down there is worse.
[AMU already figured out it was a bear. Jak's problem is little more than blood loss and low metabolic resources due to pushing himself too hard, and some massive healing requirements.
The robot finishes closing the wound and tapes on some dressings, then administers a series of hypo sprays - a press and a hiss, and the right dosage of whatever is needed is pressurized through the outer layer of his skin. It can't be done with everything, but for what AMU is administering now - nutrients and healing boosters - it's fine.
He's not so very low on blood that he'll need a transfusion. Just rest.]
[And Daxter is all over this; he hops over to Jak's other side, immediately putting himself between Jak and Praxis' line of sight (not that he makes a very formidable barrier). But at least the first thing Jak sees when he wakes up won't be the Baron.]
[Remy watches Praxis' exit. He's say something, but he figures that his presence would only anger Jak. He'd rather his friend recover safely. He continues to Jak's side.]
He stands and starts out onto the deck, looking for the infirmary.]

Hey, Daxter.
[He was going to refrain on comment about the...doctor? He wasn't sure what that thing was quite yet.]

[Finally the mustelid gets out of the way. AMU checks the bleeding - good, it has slowed. The elf's system seems responsive.
AMU uncovers the wound once more and begins to work with sutures and surgical-grade glue. This really should have been stitched sooner.]

[That's not very juicy. Well, past Jak leaving his friend in there, of course.]
Well, let this teach him to get his wounds properly treated. With such an...efficient doctor on call...there's no excuse, now is there?
[He only sounds exasperated.]

Jak, buddy? You okay?

Disturbance will interrupt his recovery. If the patient's activity level rises beyond a healthy level I will require you to leave.

Good.
Now for his exit. It's quiet and efficient. Hopefully Jak will only learn second hand Praxis was ever there.]

Reaching up shakily to rub his face, he squints and blinks.]
Dax?
