Before she and her brother petrified themselves as children, they told Cecil that in the short time they'd known him they'd come to consider him an older brother. That hasn't changed, at least not for Porom. While TAY seems to imply that they've not seen a lot of each other in the years between the games, Cecil is still one of the few people she would trust without question. His habit of being brainwashed and otherwise manipulated does make this rather unfortunate.
King of Baron. More importantly, an old friend.
Depite not knowing Ceodore too well, Porom has ridiculously high expectations of him. He is Cecil's son, after all. Her respect for him was shaken by his unwillingness to rule Troia, which she considers to be refusing to do his duty, but she's trying her hardest to recognize that he is still very young and that none of this can be easy for him. She's almost permanently disappointed in him but she'd still be on his side, no matter what happens.
Cecil's son. Not, in fact, Cecil (this part can be difficult to remember).
Despite an age gap that Porom's...being Porom has only ever widenned - Porom was an adult in a child's body before she hit four years old, let alone before Ursula was born - Ursula is one of Porom's most trusted friends. She considers the monk closer than a lot of the Mysidians who she's grown up with and has great respect for her sense of duty and discipline. She thinks Ceodore could stand to learn from her.

Companions from the past.
After facing down Ramuh, Porom has a newfound great respect for Rydia's ability to speak with the Eidolons. Because Eidolons are scary. If upsets her that whatever developments their friendship made between games has been lost but she still considers Rydia a close friend. It means a lot to her the Rydia believed her without question when she had every reason to doubt.
A capable mage and a dependable friend.
Porom has never really liked Kain. Respected for his skills as a dragoon, perhaps. But never liked. He's spent the entirety of the time she's known him making Cecil and Rosa's lives miserable over what she sees as a petty grudge, after all. And the one time she trusted him and was forced to rely upon his help he betrayed her, even if he technically didn't do that yet. His determination to protect Troia softened her to him a lot and she was willing to believe that maybe in another world he would find the redemption he sought more quickly but his return to the mountains has earned him her scorn again. She'll tolerate him, for the sake of shared friends, and she still wishes the best for him but she's unwilling to call him friend.
Once a traitor, always a traitor.
Edge is a friend, perhaps a little more distant than the others but still a friend and someone she has a great deal of respect for. His attempts at maybe-flirting make her uncomfortable, she's not quite able to get over that 'this Edge knew me as 5 year old and that is kind of odd' thing. Still, he's proven himself a capable leader when not being a moron and she feels almost as safe in his Alfitaria as she did in any city from the Blue Planet not named Mysidia.
Ruler. Ninja. Moron.
Porom has a great deal of faith in Edward, knowing that he will one day be a respected and capable ruler. His cowardice doesn't irritate her as much as it might others, she knows that he's capable of great feats of courage when it's needed from him and rulers should never be quick to throw away their own lives.
A capable ruler, if one who should believe in himself more.
