My first thought was, "What decapitation?" Then, "Ooooooh, right, the bandits. THAT decapitation." XD
I'm glad you're still enjoying how they yap at each other, because they just don't ever quit it XD Well... things get spectacularly awkward between them next chapter, and that kills their banter for a little while. But it'll get better again. And Cepsy will be around at least a few more times in the story, to point out glaringly obvious things and be either frightfully out of touch or alarmingly accurate (amazing how those two can overlap sometimes). I uh... sort of have a romance planned for Cepsy. Or, rather, a highly slashable friendship. *cough*
Oh man, you kidding me? Toes or no toes, Tallis is gonna OWN that boy XP
I feel sorry for the guy who ends up liking him, though, because Cepsy is so freaking dumb. Like, his stupidity is up there with Jinx's, just he doesn't have manic energy to distract you from it XD

This has to be my favorite so far. I had so much fun reading it, even with the decapitation and all. XD
I enjoyed the back and forth with Rook and Tallis. It was so snappy and witty. Their dialogue is an action sequence on its own.
Rook has to be always on his toes with Tallis or he'll be run over all the time.
