So today was the first day of classes for Winter Quarter...and so far I fear this will be the most boring quarter ever. My American Presidency teacher is sucking all the life out of what could be a really interesting class and my Earth's Landscape teacher is pandering way too much to the fact that most people in the class aren't Geography majors

This complements my feelings about Cities and the Environment...we aren't doing projects about cities at the end of the quarter, but something easier that deals with trash. Yesterday I kept answering all of his questions, a few of which kind of scared me that no one knew. Like, people were amazed that Gary, Indiana is famous for its steel.
