I've been thinking more and more about my "mistake" of choosing DePaul. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of things about DePaul, but overall I consider it perhaps the biggest mistake of my somewhat young life. So today was the first day of classes for Winter Quarter...and so far I fear this will be the most boring quarter ever. My American Presidency teacher is sucking all the life out of what could be a really interesting class and my Earth's Landscape teacher is pandering way too much to the fact that most people in the class aren't Geography majors ( Read more... )

I'm still alive.  Just horribly busy and with no place in the city.  More to come when I have time/when a few choice things get settled.

Three things:

1. Finding an apartment has been the most hellish experience of my life. We lost three places that I almost killed myself finding. And we STILL don't have a place to live. But whatever...after 2 weeks of nonstop stress about this, I'm done with it for a while.
