It is my mom's birthday today. Happy birthday, Mom, if you are reading this. If so, I hope you enjoyed yesterday's comics and thus you'll also enjoy more Radical Boy:
You are so right about that time-chasm. I was just telling Gideon that he needs to design for me a program that allows me to assign a number to my level of life-enthusiasm each day and then charts it, so that I can actually be sure that I'm on a rollercoaster and don't just feel like I am.
However: I'm really, really happy about this series and the general new vibrancy in the lj world.
On the other hand, I have one awful regret for today, which is specifically that I got a pickle as my side dish at lunch instead of potato salad. I need a reset button, for sure. Radical Boy, where ARE you?
It's sad but I guess relationships with ideas and interest groups are like relationships with people -- at first there's a huge bipolar swing and it eventually calms down into a sort of "oh. hey. comics. okay."
Radical Boy would probably go to get your replacement side dish and then get high and forget and go to sleep under some old rubber floor mats.
