I listen to Adam Carolla's new podcast and he casually mentioned the other day that he'd shot a pilot for a U.S. version of "Top Gear" for NBC, that the BBC were in on it and Jeremy and the guys were hangin' around. Carolla's a huge gearhead and hilarious and somehow this DIDN'T GET GREENLIT.
I, too, enjoy Carolla's podcast and am an avid listener. I've only seen a few segments of Top Gear, unfortunately, never even a full episode, but I'm certainly intrigued by both the original and the ill-fated pilot of the American version.
Funnily enough, I think a lot of the character came out of delightful accidents as I swooshed lines around.
It seems like the Hunt 102 is the Linux of drawing tools -- if you're the kind of technician who can make it work, it's got all the customization you need.

I used to use a Hunt 102 for doing all this scratching and hatching.
