We saw a free IMAX screening of the new Star Trek movie last night. It was not at all terrible, which was a nice feeling, given that I went in prepared to wince and watch the whole thing between my fingers while weeping. I'm well! I haven't seen the movie yet, but all and all I'm pretty pumped. By the way, I really like Radical Boy. Nice job!

Oh why thank you. And I think people who are going in excited are probably going to have the most fun because they won't spend the first 45 minutes of the movie trying to let themselves relax and enjoy themselves instead of looking for things that are proof that it is going to turn terrible.

Brief montages of the protagonists getting angry, the consultants laughing, and Peter throwing fish guts onto his desk. Basically, none of the scenes that it would later come to be known for as a cult classic.
