I guess my question is 'so what'. So the religious lie. Everyone does. It's not a reflection of the faith, it's a reflection of the flawed people who believe in it--and the point of many faiths is the forgiveness of those flaws.

I did not name him. It is how the story is written. But, it is a corruption of a proper name which means one whose hair is the color of the fox. If you were interested.

Well yeah, but surely since you're re-telling it you could have taken some artistic license? Like, by telling us that the fox had a name before using it? It's not like you were just copy pasting from your own memories.
