Yesterday I took my kids in for their check ups/ immunization shots, etc.  My babies are doing fabulous.  Fayth went off the chart for her weight.  She was in the 85th percentile for height.  Dominic is in the 90th percentile for his height and 90th percentile for weight.  Mikayla is in the 95th percentile for her height.  She is in the 90th percentile for weight.  She weighs 17 lbs 9.4 oz.  Go figure!  :)  I'm going to have really tall kids!
The doctor was so blown away by how intelligent Fayth is.  The doctor kept cracking up because Fayth kept shooting questions after questions.  At one point, the dr was looking into Fayth's ear and she asked the dr what she was doing.  After she answered the question, the next thing Fayth said was "What's in my ear?  Cats?".  The room filled with a loud laughter between the dr, the interpreter and myself.  Fayth looked at us like.. what the heck are you guys laughing at!!  The dr let her listen to her own heart through the stethoscope.  She said it sounded like drums.  As the dr was checking Dom out, Fayth wanted to listen to his heart as well.  It was just too cute watching Fayth so curious about everything.
This part I absolutely hate hate hate about being a parent.  Watching my babies scream as the nurses give them their shots.  They're clinging on to me desperately trying to get me to save them.  I am saving them from all the diseases out there but they don't know that.  All they know it fucking hurts and my mom better get me out of this!!  Dominic got 5 shots and Mikayla got 3.  I talked to the dr out of giving Fayth 1 shot since she gets really sick from immunization shots for days and her birthday party is this Saturday.  The last thing I need to have the birthday girl all cranky at her own party.  I have to take the kids back in next month for their immunization shots.  All three of them.  I'm NOT looking forward to it!  Fayth needs her chicken pox shot.  Dom and Mikayla were alittle behind in their shots so next month they will be caught up with all of their immunization shots.  That's another thing I'm not looking forward to, Dom will remember how bad it hurts and he will probably be kicking and screaming when he sees those needles.   *Muttering at self*  I hope I can get through that episode!

Fayth's birthday party is this Saturday and I haven't even started shopping!   I have no one to blame but myself..  ... Grrr...
