I hope they do get tried as adults. What's the purpose in trying people as juveniles, anyway? If you're old enough to commit a crime, you're old enough to be tried as an adult. I guess maybe it'd be different if it was something petty, but just being like "That was very bad, now pay a fine and you're off" isn't much of a deterrent!
