Duplex

I might be buying a building in North East Minneapolis, not too far from Modern Cafe. Anyone looking for an apartment to rent? I'm thinking $400 for the basement studio which is about 600 Sq. Ft. and $800 for the main 2BR unit that's 1100 Sq. Ft. Utilities not included. I really LOVE the building itself. Its nice brick, in a great location. ( Read more... )

Right now I'm in in Roseville, right down the road from the state fair grounds.

I'll probably be looking for a studio come the next 2 months.
How would the idea of cats fly?
Living below Jessica would be fun (above comment).
And from what I've heard north east is becoming the new artsy area to live.

Cats would be okay -- we have FOUR ourselves. I'll probably know in the next couple of days if we are getting the duplex or not. It would be cool to have people who aren't complete strangers living there.

What do you want to know? Cats would be okay but no dogs. The apartment is one block from University and one block from Broadway. Its a block from the bus (route 18). The 2BR has a new appliances (including dishwasher) in the kitchen. There's garage space for 1 car. If I buy the place I'll post pictures in the next couple of days.

that sounds like an awesome location - i'm looking for a place for just myself... i'm a student at the U and having that close access to the bus is an extra perk.

i'd have a car, but a garage isn't necessarily needed - if there is street parking or space next to the garage, etc. that would be just fine.

just keep me posted! and i don't want to be competing for it with anyone so if the above ladies are really interested, it's fine.

Are you looking for a studio or 2BR? Sheridan seems better maintained then some of the north east areas we've been looking at. It's still close enough to everything. Right now I'm a 25 block walk to work downtown and I think it's about the same distance.
