This definitely worse than reveille. At least reveille didn't start at midnight.

And at least reveille had the dignity of being a bugle. Old Elias would not be pleased with this development.

You're probably right.

What was that about aliens?

Noise-cancelling headphones, with the music off. It helps.

The store selling those must be making a fortune today.

It's worth it. Not like they're one-use only.

True, but operating on a budget regrettably forces me to be thrifty. I'll consider it.

That's a stupid question.

I dealt with it better than my little friend over here.

It is indeed a shame your ear wires do not drown it out.

Some songs are simply not made for all-kazoo arrangements. It appears waiting until midnight is the only viable option.

Yet another shame. What will you listen to during tea time?

[YOU ARE LUCKY THIS IS NOT VIDEO, REINETTE. Or you would be the subject of a withering glare.]

I may opt to suffer through "Charlotte the Harlot" as performed on kazoo, merely on principle. It would be a shame to break with tradition simply because of a curse.

According to the Network, it was made after my time.

I loathe this sound...it seems that it has simply replaced the ticking. Being around people makes it softer.
