Eames had an idea.

She and Arthur had been living together for a while now. They had had their ups and downs, dealing with the issues her anger issues had caused (they were still present, but she was making efforts to control her temper; and Arthur appreciated that, as well as the fact that she was going to anger management classes at the local ( Read more... )

So far the relationship he had with Eames was truly one of the most meaningful ones he had had with another person since his best friend, Lily. Although, this relationship took on a whole new kind of meaning when the possibility of it being more than platonic had entered the equation.

They had taken it slow, though, both having had traumatic sexual experiences before meeting each other. So, they both understood each other on that level (and it was one of the reasons - if not the reason - that, no matter how aroused Arthur may get, there was never any rush or pushing himself onto Eames - he'd go into the bathroom to finish off or take a cold shower, whichever would work best at the time ( ... )

Eames would never be able to communicate how much she appreciated Arthur. Just in general, the fact that he never pushed her for sex - which meant that she was more willing and wanting to do things for him. Somehow along the line she had decided his pleasure was hers as well, and it meant even sometimes they did things where he wouldn't touch her, but would masturbate in front of her (if she asked). It was incredibly erotic.

She felt that she loved him. She had told him as much (still very scared about being that dependent on someone, but she was willing to try with him). And it was why she wanted to try this, because she wanted to be able to give him everything. She didn't want to make him feel bad for wanting it either.

She smiled at him as soon as he came through the door, not wanting him to think this would be a bad conversation. "Hey. Everything's fine, I just wanted to talk to you about something." Adding, "Not a bad something."

He gave a relieved if tired smile at that (because "needing to talk" wasn't always something to look forward to but as long as it wasn't a "bad something"...) and came over to where she was on the couch.

He leaned down to press a soft kiss to her lips like he always did when he came home after her before sitting down on the couch beside her, slouching into the cushions, his thigh pressed to her nearest one.

"Okay. So, what is this "something"?"

She tilted her head up for the kiss, fingers brushing along his jaw, before he sat down. She bit her lip when he asked what it was, and reached out to stroke a hand over the bag, rustling it.

"I know this may seem a little out of left field," she started. "Um.... I know that you're still... kind of curious about things. So I bought this thinking maybe we could try it?" She gestured at the bag, for him to look in.
