I haven't been on hormonal birth control for years due to migraines. My cycle is normal- every 28 days- light spotting first two then very heavy for next three days and then that's it. :/ still waiting for drs call. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
If you changed your food/drink habits, started a pre-natal vitamin, or changed your exercise routines, you might be having a shift in your cycle. This happened to a friend of mine, whose period got lighter when she cut drinking, started her prenatal vitamin, and went to a weekly Pilates class all in the same month.
Remember, it's more likely to get a false positive on a pregnancy test than a false negative. The tests you buy at the store detect a chemical in your urine that isn't there when you're not pregnant. It does sound like you probably missed ovulation this time around, from the dates you posted.
I'm not sure what's going on with you this month but if you are still trying next month I highly recommend charting and temping to track your cycle and ovulation and to help you time conception. The book 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility ' is a great resource on just how to do this. Good luck!
Oh, I also wanted to say that this light bleeding you're having does not sound incredibly dire or anything. Hopefully your OB can shed some light on what's going on.
Thank you everyone! I don't think I've ever been this excited to actually go to the Gyno. I was bleeding/spotting for 12 days, had a day off with no bleeding/spotting then has some light spotting for another day. I've also been using Wandfo ovulation strips and so far I haven't ovulated. I'll keep testing though just in case it happens later. Thanks again! I will keep you updated!
