With both of my pregnancies, I worked a ton. That was the only way to keep time going by quickly. I work very busy 12 hour night shifts, so I would work 4-5 nights a week. I would be so exhausted when I was home I could fall asleep despite the massive discomfort. I hated pregnancy. I was miiiiiiserable - especially with baby #2 when I was on bedrest from 25 weeks to 35 weeks. As soon as my OB cleared me to work I was working again (with at least one extra shift a week) to make that last month fly by!

I focused on a major craft project in my last few months for each... Something that requires attention as a nice distraction?

And walking. I made the effort to walk every so often... around the block ... just to stretch out. I had summer pregnancies so I was in sweltering Aussie heat. It just meant I did an end of the day walk... and having a cafe just around the corner certainly helped. Meeting friends for coffees really helped break it all up.

they put me on bed rest at 36 weeks but I couldn't really do that. I telecommute three days so that helped. My husband did mostly everything along the lines of chores bit even I still was vacuuming at 40 wks. I was having no issues with being pregnant. I was able to walk around and sleep and all that. I had a bad sciatic nerve but it only really bothered me while sitting. Braxton hicks would come and go but nothing too overwhelming. I play a lot of video games. I heard that is a great distraction for pain and discomfort.

Swim. Or rather, float. A lot. Pretty sure I lived in the pool.

Really helps alleviate some of the discomfort, if only temporarily.

i just stay busy and stay off the groups as it is just pointless to read some of the things these women do, not to mention dangerous. do things for yourself - get your nails done, massages, your hair cut etc...also at this time of year - try to find a nice pool to just float in.
