If your water broke and you haven't delivered within 24 hours, you're at a high risk for infection (the baby is too). If you're concerned, go to L&D

My water broke and I knew it was my water because when I laid down it kept coming out in a stream. I felt like I was peeing myself but I couldn't stop. I soaked through a pad within an hour and went to L&D and sure enough it was my water - I delivered via c-section about 4 hours after my water broke.

I ended up calling my doctor and going in today. She said it's not my water, she didn't really give a reason why it was happening, but she said that the baby is really low and putting a lot of pressure on my cervix. I don't know if thats normal or not, but she sent me to ultrasound to make sure everything was okay and she said she'd call and let me know.

Have you lost your mucous plug yet?

I just got the email saying you commented, sorry it took so long.

I actually lost it this past Sunday (2-25-07) The doctor said I shouldn't go more than another 2 weeks, but I'm looking for other girls experiences in that type of situation. I'm 29 weeks, in 2 days I'll be 30 weeks. I had my son at 27 weeks. How long was it after you lost your plug that you went into labor?
