Ha ha, I've gotten very used to seeing people around LJ (friends and people in communities) with opinions different to my own. Politics, parenting, religious - all sorts of topics. And while sometimes it frustrates the living hell out of me, it makes things interesting. And honestly, as I've gotten older, my opinions and those of the people around me (in real life) have started to differ more and more. But it's easier for me to debate online, I think. My family and close friends just tend to get butthurt too easily, so I don't even bother anymore

Actually, you were one of the friends! Don't be scared. I was surprised to find someone who hated Apple so much.
I'm smitten with Apple, so that is one instance I was referring to. We're already planning on buying the iPad. :) It's funny, it really is. See, not a big deal at all!
And those pettiskirts, absolutely! I'll keep my eyes open. A lot are size 2-3 or sometimes 2-4 so I'll just buy double next time I pick one up for Izze. But if you can think of a color combo, let me know. I was just at a boutique this weekend and they had cute pettiskirts for $35, but the colors in the sizes that would fit Izze were odd.
I'm actually not terribly anti-Apple, though Daniel *really* is. And as a result, we'll never own anything Apple because he'll outright refuse to help me with it, ha ha. But I do like him to educate me about different products and what's good or bad about them. When he told me about the negatives of the iPad, I jumped on board with him because they're things that would really piss me off. Not being able to use Flash and multitask were enough to keep me from buying one. Daniel helps me customize my laptop and he does the same with his, so the iPad would be pretty useless to me. But to each their own - people can buy it if it suits their needs. I suppose the beef I have with Apple about that particular product is that they intend to add things later and sell the updated version, which leads me to ask why they released something that in their eyes isn't complete. I'm not really cool with that business strategy, I suppose

I haven't at all. That would be the death of me. But I think I may have noticed drinking a soda does. It's hard to pinpoint it to something like having soda once in a while.
Because the pain isn't consistent at all.
I read somewhere there's a theory about it being caused by plastic water bottles... but I can't believe that.
I take it she likes The Wizard of Oz? I've been thinking about showing that movie to Astrid, I just didn't think she would like it a lot. Does the witch scare her at all?
I wouldn't say Izze it's her favorite movie. Her favorite movie changes from week to week, aside from Annie which will always outshine the rest to her, but The Wizard of Oz is definitely up there. She got it for her birthday and we've watched it a handful of times since. When we watch though she wants to watch it several times before she moves on to something else.
I didn't think she'd like it either, I rented it once before when she was a little younger, but she wasn't interested in it. The witch could be a little scary, but Izze is really into witches and scary things. The scariest part for her is towards the end when Dorothy isn't sure she'll make it home and they're stuck at the Witch's castle. I have to watch that part with her, or she turns it off before it.
