i don't feel bad for working at home non-stop and going out rarely, because i actually care about where i will be in 1 year...3 years... 10 years. going out and drinking every other night is fulfilling for a night, MAYBE, but it's not your future. or maybe it is? that would be pitiful, right? but, i'm sure there is someone who is exactly like that ( Read more... )

So true. I always try to tell this to my siblings (as they are young and in college): you have the rest of your life to drink and party. Work hard so you can enjoy it more.

It's kinda like only having steak 3 times a year, but going all out and getting a giant ribeye those 3 times. :)

truly! that's EXACTLY what i'm talking about... all these years i've worked so hard to get where i am, now i'm ready to relax and have some fun. but i still cant, when i have tons of freelance to do. haha, but still, you are exactly right.
