I doubt I would give DT's acting a bad review even in the Christmas pantomime. I though his Virgin Mary giving birth noises should get him cast "Call the Midwife."

More seriously I certainly agree with you about "Single Father." It's well written, emotionally believable, David's acting is superb as always, and his character is something of a sweetheart, albeit a a flawed sweetheart. I also watched it once and then promptly went back and watched it again.

Yeah, he actually wasn't bad as Virgin Mary, given the material he had to work with. :) What I love about that is how he actually studies the script and prepares for it (a little), instead of just winging it. And when he says to Christian, "It's called ACTING. They don't just give out those BAFTAs, you know." LOL. He and Christian have a great on-air relationship.
