In Bristol (brizzle) they have some lovely ones, in certain parts the dialect is as close to old Anglo Saxon as it gets.
My favourite is when they ask where something is, they have to end the phrase in "to", as in "where's your house to?" or "Where are you to?", the latter confused me a lot when I first moved there and a friend rang to ask where I was, and I explained that I was on my own. I also like how when something is large, or generally superior it gets called "gert" (great basically), something can be "gert big" or it could be "gert lush" (really nice).
Personally I come from a geordie background, so I could spend my weekends tappylappin in clarty fields, or gannin te visit me hinnies.
