Bad news.

I decided to redo all of my CC a few days ago so I could better organize it, and it seems the not too legal version of Lucky Palms that I had installed was corrupted in some way because when I uninstalled it, it completely crashed my game. So I basically had to start fresh, and I reinstalled Liberty Bay to try and get the Mercers back,

Yeah, it was a crappy thing. I was mainly upset because I was really curious to see how the boys were going to turn out. Haha. But I have a new founder already made so hopefully I'll have a brand new chapter up soon!

I hate when that happens and now I compulsively backup frequently. I've sooo many saves (50 total) that are backups OF backups of backups and even then I make copies each time I'm done playing on one of my other two hard drives, JUST IN CASE. My Saved Sims and shit gets backed up after each play as well, hahaha. I'M DEFINITELY NOT GOING ANYWHERE BECAUSE OF A GAME CRASH. They happen, it sucks, but then we move on and start over //hug//

To be completely honest, I did still have a save of the Mercers back in Liberty Bay. But when I went to grab them from it, the sims themselves had been corrupted due to my changing CC and such, and I was already so frustrated by that point from all of the crashes and bad CC and all the crap I'd had to deal with over the previous few days, that I just didn't want to deal with trying to fix them at that moment

Don't feel like an idiot - we've allll done it. Like the one time I reformatted my computer (had a new motherboard I installed so I kinda had to) and I backed eeevvvererrryyything up...

....except my Nanowrimo novel.

....it was currently November.
