hello, I've been two years off livejournal for too much RL stuff going on but I was freaking glad I got to read a new fic of you, I'm a big fan :) anywayss, I love your characterization of kibum, I think you get him, as in, you get what happens on his brain, his chain of thoughts. It's lovely. I got this giant bias on Kibum and I just want to hug him and find him a boyfriend that half of s.korea will not murder alive. or deny him. Gosh. Well, on more practical things, I love this because it's a really clever insight about what makes kibum tick. Thanks for posting and keep on writing! You definitely haven't lost your touch :)

Sorry for not being clear in that line (rereading it, I can see the confusion >_<) -- IRL I think Key falls on the 'yes' side of the fence when it comes to the question of 'is he gay'. This fic was originally going to be Jonghyun/Key, so that line probably would've made more sense had I kept that context. I just meant the impossible hilarity of him and Jonghyun but his sexuality in the story is meant to be ~ambiguously gay regardless :)

i loved this. i think you really got key's character nailed down.

i definitely think key is further on the homo side of the spectrum when it comes to his sexuality. to be honest, i never thought he was particularly as flamboyant as people make him out to be (minus the girl group songs), just blunt? i think it's just the general aura i get with him, particularly the way he talks, that has me seriously thinking he's day.

And yeah I agree! I think the fanservice gets to everyone. I can't imagine how it wouldn't!! I love Jongkey because I feel like they're so easy/such affectionate bros that it's easy to mistake it for something more (I mean I bought into it ;; now it is my secretly tragic ship ;;) but I think when it comes down to it, I could never see them as endgame, no matter how much I want them to be. Or maybe it's just because they've been part of SHINee for so long that I imagine all of the initial affection/attraction's burnt out by now. I do love how comfortable they are around each other though.

Thank you so much T__T I feel embarrassed by your praise... My writing is really not worth this comment.... T_T I was happy to be writing again so I just posted this immediately after finishing it but in retrospect I could've done better lol. And thank you! I realized recently that my uncontested bias is Key, so most of what I know about the other members is only what I know about them in relation to him. I'm working on relearning the other members in a sense, so I'm still testing out the waters of how I should best characterize them u____u I'm glad that it worked for you though

Oh, also! For whatever reason I can't respond to the comment you left on my other fic but basically thank you for giving me your thoughts! I think I unwittingly regurgitated most of it back to you in my comment above this one u__u but I really liked what you had to say!! I agree, I really like the best friends turned lovers trope too, but also it's the one I have the hardest time believing, if that makes sense. Anyway, your question about Jonghyun's role in ask, receive made me realize it's heavily Key-POV, and it would've ended that way if you hadn't brought it up, so thank you!! n__n

Ah, there's no need to change the Key-centric POV if at this point it'd ruin the consistency of the narrative. But if you can somehow cleverly slip in more Jjong-characterization while staying in Key's perspective...? Eh that might be too difficult/too much to ask, I'll probably love it either way, especially since Jonghyun is my bias (though Key and Onew definitely like to contest sometimes).
