Dented in the Parking Lot

Jul 01, 2009 13:01

I went out to grab a bite to eat for lunch. As I was pulling into the parking lot, I noticed two free parking spaces near the entrance. There was a car in front of me who took the first one. Then, naturally, I pulled into the second one. Before I'd even come to a complete stop, the driver of the other car opened her door without even looking, ( Read more... )

Jeeeeez!!!!

What a jerk!

No, she shouldn't get away with it. I'd be tempted to pursue it if only because she just kept walking away. Weird.

Yeah, that's what's really bothering me, that she just kept walking away. It's so damn rude!

But the real damage just not that serious. If my car needed expensive repairs, I'd definitely pursue it. But it's just a small dent. And I can probably clean or paint over the smudge myself.

At times like this, I hope that "what goes around, comes around" is true.

I probably would have said, "Oh, forget it," if she'd apologized. But, now, part of me wants to pursue it.

i feel the exact same way. i'd pursue it, lol, just to like... teach her a lesson. like you can't just be a dick to people and completely disregard them, gotta get out of your own fantasy world.

Yeah, it's her attitude that really upset me. Unfortunately, I don't think pursuing it would teach her a lesson. It would probably just be a lot of hassle over something relatively unimportant. I just hope there's karma or something...

Ahem. Theoretically, only theoretically, mind you, I'd have keyed her fucking door, then gone and parked elsewhere. :-) But too late for that.

Hahaha... the thought did cross my mind. At time like this, I wish my sister were still dating that guy with mob connections. He could "take care" of anything... or, at least, claimed that he could.

That was my first thought too. Key her car, and leave a note stating that her car wouldn't have been keyed if she hadn't acted like an asshole.

I'd still report her. Just so she doesn't "get away with it". Fucking bitch!

Hahaha... I wouldn't leave a note because I wouldn't want anyone to track me down for keying her car!

I'm feeling less annoyed about this today. I'm sure she knew she'd done it and that she was being a bitch. Otherwise, she wouldn't have rushed off and ignored me.

If I were bigger or a man I bet she wouldn't have ignored me, though.

>_> I'd call her up on it and make her pay to get it fixed! I mean, is the woman deaf or what?! Geeze, that would really piss me off if it had happened to me. XD I wouldn't have thought about being charged with assault and tackled her anyway!

I'm sure she heard me. She was just in hurry (I suspect) and didn't want to deal with it. She probably thought it wasn't a big deal.

Well, I don't know about tackling. I'm might lose if there was a fight. ^__^ I'm not that strong and she was bigger than I am. But I'm probably in better shape, and I've got long (sharp) nails.

xD I'm 4'10" and I'd STILL tackle her! >_>; I'm a mean little thing when I'm angry.
