Home at last

I made it home on the 26th then got up and drove out to Grand Junction (to visit la_fae_existenz and her family) the next day. I'm finally home after a slightly frightening drive home last night (everything to the west of the Eisenhower tunnel was clear, dry and pretty. Everything on the east side was a fogged-over icy hell with terrifyingly stupid people

Damn! You always hear about the Western Slope this Western Slope that! Come to find out we do fine on the eastern side with the weather at least! I am sorry you had such crappy travel airport wise...we got lucky. Hey that will make you put it in perspective...imagine going through what you went through with three kids! Hah!
