I took an iReport style video that quickly degenerated when my mother was all, "TAKE A PICTURE OF ME!" You know, repeatedly. It shall not be posted, or at least not yet.
It's crazy over there. I'm so glad I live on the island. Island > Mainland.
I'm told Martha's Vineyard is really nice (I've only been to Nantucket), but nowhere beats my little slice of heaven (or, at least, that's what I think). I didn't really appreciate it when I was younger. I had to go away to realize what I had - after a not-so-awesome trip to England, I damn near kissed the ground when I got home. :D
That area around you is going to look totally different once I'm able to come visit you again, man. Hurricanes, fires.. ugh. I was just talking about that house party we went to that one time when I was down there, over on the mainland? Yeah, I was talking about it to my friend Mary for really no reason. And... if I remember correctly, those pictures would be from right in that area, right?
That house was really fucked up in Hurricane Frances and the people whose party we were attending moved out. I have no idea how the house is now, though I think it may have been demolished in early 2005. :(
I was going to say what the hell is wrong with mother nature (what with all the cyclones and earthquakes), but then I read that you said it was caused by arsonists. Now I understand why mother nature would be pissed.
I don't say it very often for how much I believe it, but I think the world might be ending. Like, the end of the world is at hand! Apocalypse. Put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye. That kinda thing. I'm bracing for December 2012, myself. :P
Just... the world has gone mad. Tornadoes, cyclones, earthquakes, fires, hurricanes, volcanoes.
I agree with you. People think I am being ridiculous and morbid and all of that, but I really do think something bigger is happening. Everything is turning upside down!
