That was actually at a train station in London, at the end of March. I was with friends and we were waiting for someone to come in on the train, so while they were arsing around I marked papers. :)

Wow, really? Clearly London's train stations are cooler than the ones in Manchester! I disliked Manchester in general, though, so...

Both of me in the past week, although one looks a bit less put-together because of being in an artificial rainforest with my hair all wet and holding a butterfly. Yay!

I am currently addicted to the Cockrell Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. That is where I went to hang around on my birthday, and last weekend, they had an Adopt-A-Butterfly butterfly release, where you can go and help release newly emerged butterflies into the center. I know. I am a sappy dork.

Everytime I try to look hip and intellectual, I either look like an asshat or like I'm constipated. Very sad. :(

How's life in Houston treating you? I know you weren't looking forward to the move, but that Butterfly Center seems pretty cool!

THIS I CANNOT ABIDE.
the picture is a few months old (i avoid cameras) but snow is the greatest! shortly before and after this picture i was tackled to the ground and snow made it A++
also, the idea of it being hot all year round is gross and unpleasant to me

Well, it's not hot ALL the time - it gets pretty chilly and occasionally we get a freeze - but it doesn't really snow. I enjoyed skiing and playing in the snow when I went on the ski trips (to Utah and Colorado), but I'm not sure I could handle it for weeks or months. I don't like being cold for long periods of time!
