We found Chester. He's alive, though he's got a nasty bite and he's limping badly. Mom is taking him to the vet now.

He's been admitted to the vet for extended treatment... he's in a bad way, but they can fix him. Thank God. *relieved*

I am so glad, poor thing. Is it his leg that is a problem? You said he was limping. Or is that in addition to the bite? Wow, that is so amazing that he is okay. I remember when I was a kid, a cat that looked identical to mine (so much so, that I thought it was my cat until she came home a few minutes later) had a run in with a dog and was not so fortunate.

*love* Thank you. He's been admitted to the vet for treatment - the bite was way worse than we initially thought, but they can repair him. Thank God.

Surgery went really well. Now that the anesthesia has worn off and the initial round of Tylenol extra strength has worn off, I'm starting to feel like someone has set my back on fire, but still not as bad as I was expecting. I have a follow-up on the 30th to get the stitches removed, though I should have the results back before then.

YAY CAT. Poor kitty though, I hope he's ok. Abcesses are a bitch.

He was worse than we intially thought, but the vet says they can repair him (better, faster, stronger!). *love*

That's about how much it's going to cost to fix him, at this rate - the down payment was $250. Worth it, but... good Lord. O.O

I know! He's in the kitty hospital and will be for the near future, but he should be okay. <3
