On the details of the penlight, they've been able to choose to program the penlights recently. I think it started with the light-up uchiwa from Arashi's Digitalian concert? That way they can have the penlights do what they want, mostly. If you watch the Digitalian concert DVD, they use it to some awesome effects (even better since those ones had different colors). Wasn't aware they were having the Quartetto penlights do that though, so that's a cool detail.

thank you so so much for sharing your epic experience!! the whole time i was reading your post, i'm like "oh my goooood! i am so jealous!! i want to see them too!!" and you're near the main staage! that's awesooome!! i know this may sound weird but i really feel like crying while reading! i feel so happy! i even think that if ever i am to watch it live, i would be crying the whole time! XD maybe someday soon, well not too soon.. i will be able to watch them as well!!

That's a very spontaneous trip, buying a ticket right away! I wanted to do that during their 10th anniversary, but couldn’t bec. of personal reasons.
But, my dream of seeing NEWS perform live is still in my bucket list! Hopefully next year they have another concert…

Yes! I do hope so they'll have another tour next year! I'll do my best to able to watch them again :) how about tegomass? Will you go if they have a tour this year?

i would love to go to Tegomass concert too! my fiance loves tegoshi's voice and keeps asking me if they will ever sing Kesenai again (that's his fave song and mine too)
too bad i don't think i will make it this year if ever they have a concert, fiance wants to tag along if im going to JP orz and plane ticket just cost too much from here, at the other side of the world...

watching NEWS con would be a dream come true, just like you... ü

I used to fantasize and daydream a lot about going to News' concert, I'm soo happy you get live one of your dreams! I love that News seems to handle things well - their fans and what you described in the concert - feel proud of them in spite of things! *sniff* btw I cracked up when you mentioned that you were paying attention to Tegosh 80% at the time xD
