Aside from catching giggles throughout the day from school Haruto managed fairly well, and when it came around to the time for the - dare he say it? - date he was home and biting his nails.
Oh my, God! what was he doing?!
Oh my, God! what were they going to do?!
Oh my, God! Would he have fun?
Millions of thoughts flooded his mind and went to wait by the Chapel. Santa Maria stood, graceful, subtle and beautiful as always. Her hands placed together, and the softest most tender of smiles was held on her face. Eyes slightly closed, looking down at the praying innocent soul that looked up at her.
The chapel echoed every movement made by anyone within it. So even as Haruto had since stopped before the statue to examine it, you could still hear his foot steps echoing throughout. Slowly fading away, even though the owner was now standing still.
At least the sight of a calm and subtle statue gave him some kind of composure.
