Tea and coffee

I don't get tea and coffee. Everyone says I'm too young, but I know plenty of people my age who drink either or both, though more commonly coffee. But the problem with coffee is that it just tastes so bad. I used to be put off by the smell, but even when I tried drinking it it was absolutely disgusting, even after dumping in sugar. I used to hate coffee too (and beer too). Tea, I didn't care about. I think we develop more of a taste for bitter as we get older.

This naturally explains old folks in no small part.

Tea isn't supposed to have much flavor, it's supposed to have a very subtle taste. Have you ever tried green tea or barley tea? Those are pretty much the only types of tea we Koreans drink, but damn do I love them.

No, I haven't. At the risk of sounding like an ignorant westerner, I have tried jasmine tea, in Japanese and Chinese restaurants, but it's probably nothing like green tea or barley tea. Also I don't trust its authenticity.
