Hi! I realize the whole idea of this post on a friends-only journal is for prospective folk such as myself to say "You seem fascinating, friends yes?"... Yet I just can't get over the desire to apologize for being stalkerish and oppressive. So I'll combine the two:
"Hi! I found you through the newcollege community. Hopefully I'll be going there next year. You seem downright fascinating and I'd love to read your journal. I am, however, sorry for bothering you and being a horrible stalker. So um... you should forgive me due to our common interests and your goodwill, and thus befriend me." =)
You're not stalkerish at all. I'll gladly friend you. :) My reason for my journal being friends only is because I do write a lot of person stuff and I don't want anybody to be able to read it.
found you at the NC community. i'm a new student there this semester. add me :). i don't think i know you, but who knows? we may be in a couple of classes together. :p.
Welcome to my journal and New College!!! :) I'm all about trying to be friendly to the new students because I had a horrible first semester there from when I transferred from community college; so bad I almost left. But now that I like it I want to make other people feel welcome that might not, especially since I've heard from other transfers how rough their first semester was too.
I live off campus so you might not see me around all that much but I'm trying to be on campus more. What classes are you in? If you're in Critical Theory I'm the girl who wouldn't stop talking about Jane Eyre last week.
my first semester has been a bit depressing. I'm not in critical theory, but i do love Jane Eyre. It was one of the first romances I read, about 4 years ago in 8th grade. not in the class, of course, but during that time. This may sound random but...were you the one yesterday in the hamcenter at around 2pm who was talking to sonia wu about how the experience here is different for transfers? if so, i was the one eating milk and cookies behind sonia.
I do believe that was me talking to Sonia Wu because I was there about that time. I was wearing a long green skirt and a white long sleeve hippy shirt that was very sheer. I think I might have noticed you. We'll have to plan a time to meet up.
Hi! You sound like very interesting person ("saw" you on louisamay-community). I really would love to read your journal, though you can´t read mine (it´s in Finnish). :) I´m from Finland, almost 17-years-old and I love writing, reading and theatre. So is there any possibilities for me to read your journal?
I'll add you so you can read my journal. If you know of a place online that translates Finnish to English let me know so I can read yours from time to time.
