Anti-Smoking Ads

I hate them. I can't take two steps in Niagara College without seeing a poster for some anti-smoking campaign. They're not even kind warnings about the hazards of smoking anymore, now ads just tell you to quit, with the implication being that if you don't want to quit you must be stupid. Case in point: stupid.ca TV spots, with broads rubbing shit

doode. those ads are crap. i don't know who came up with the idea of insulting the target audience, but they should be fuckin' fired. what kind of successful ad campaign is based on telling the people that you're trying to reach that they're stupid?!?!?! LWTF.

I disagree, the ads are awesome, they make me laugh and they call stupid people stupid.. 90 percent of the world are idiots and the stupid.ca adds just make it clear to the out of shape, disgusting, poor eating habbit dirt bags slobs that they are indeed stupid.

I however am amazing and nothing I say or do could be considered wrong.

i am pretty sure youve seen me have more than one smoke, i dont smoke, just. when i drink for the taste, and. well shit so many people smoke weed daily.. or drink too much?

so many people i've seen preech against smoking drink 4 times a week.. like your liver dosnt get hurt *_+..

its all in your choice, and the adds i AGREE with it is stupid to smoke

but i also think they have NO god damn right to preech it, we know the risks by now, so let us decide for ourselves, but this is all america, got to remember to fit the american moLD!

Heh. You see, here in Guelph there's this lovely dichotomy of having the most adamant anti-smokers doing "recreational pharmaceuticals" every weekend behind some bushes. I figure we're all causing detriment to our lives through some addiction or another. Because if our personalities are not a pile of addictions and compusions, then what are they?
