Any of you guys ever heard of Damien Rice and John Legend???

So yes Damien Rice ---> awesome folk.. hails from Ireland?

John Legend ----> awesome R&B.. from Ohio

I listen to 'Prague' religiously.. if I even see his name on my list, I have to play the song... I like the angsty feeling and him pretty much yelling while just attacking his guitar.. but then I turn around and love his sweet ballads like 'Blowers Daughter' or 'Delicate'

check out his website.. I don't know where you're located, but he's traveling around the US.. HELL.. If he's coming to Houston of all places.. I bet he'll be near you :D

I giggle whenever his songs come on my playlist, because I have one of these corny 'love-me-tender'!70s songs that comes on right after it that just makes me 'eh'

Maybe; where is it? I was planning on going to Conroe May 8-15, but haven't made any actual plans or arrangements, but I'd rather not like, drive to Austin and then to Conroe. :-\

Its down in downtown Houston actually :DDD

Wouldn't be to much of a drive from there to Conroe... probably a hop skip for you driver you XD

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE John Legend.. I can't even describe why his music is so good.. it just is. He does alot of R&B with smooth beats, but what makes me love him more is the piano, which he plays all the time. I'm a sucker for a boy behind a piano XD

I'd be more than happy to upload what I have.. would yousendit.com be okay? or is megaupload better for you?

'Ordinary People' is my favorite from him. Its very simple because its just him and the piano, but that's what makes me like it more I guess. 'Save Room' is another one of my favorites, but more upbeat.

Have you ever listened to Alicia Keys? He resemebles her style ALOT.. if you like her, you'll like Johnny boy :DDD

Oh believe me, I don't know if I could contain myself if I was to ever watch him perform live on the piano.. I'd probably jump over the instrument and tackle him, but then Min would cry because I was neglecting him, and I couldn't have that :DDD

It was weird that I checked my email and noticed you wrote me, and me being happy that I could share the awesomeness that is John Legend, I jumped on that ;DDDD He definitely had to be doing something from the 'Get Lifted' CD on the Oprah show.. he came out with his second CD only a couple months ago

Alicia Keys is awesome.. Songs in A Minor has to be one of my favorite CDs.. I'm trying to think of some other R&B performers that you would probably like... Marvin Gaye is original R&B that everyone should hear.. 'What's Goin' On' would be on my top list.. Bill Withers is another old school R&B singer from the 60s/70s.. I love 'I Can't Wait by Sleepy Brown too (this is a bit more current XD).. OHHH!! And Anthony Hamilton (geeez, can't believe I forgot about ( ... )
