Is it just me, or have I completely just erased racial lines whenever I think guys are hot or whatnot? Okay.. this doesn't really make sense but in my head, so work with me ( Read more... )

YES. YES YES. I've been feeling the same way too about the blurred racial lines. ahh, before this whole...thing *waves hands around* I've gotten myself into, I noticed the asian-ness (lol you, me, and dupree reference there), but now I can't see it! And I've been thinking about this lately too. Sometimes I'll be looking at a picture of dbsk and suddenly be like "omg. they've got asian eyes!" ...like I never noticed before. hahaha XD

Whenever the subject of me going to Japan comes up, one of my cousins will always say "just don't go bringing back an Asian husband..." and all I can think is "but why not?!?!" I always just sit there and smile, but inside I'm like ...what does it matter what race they are? Especially if they're hot! :\ lol

Omg. SE7EN's One Last Cry? Best remake ever. I listened to that for like, 3 days straight, I swear. Sad to say, but Yoochun's version left much to be desired. lol

It was just weird because I was looking at pictures of the guys and I kinda noticed that I don't see the asian features anymore.. I remember in the beginning looking at all this stuff, and thinking.. "definitely asian" or whatnot, but now I don't even see the eyes or whatever.. It was just really weird and I had to put that out there.. glad I'm not the only one dealing with this XDDD ( ... )

No, I TOTALLY agree--I never thought asian guys were particularly attractive before, and even probably thought they were less so than normal white guys. But now I can even look at some and not SEE the asian qualities anymore, it's crazy.

so happy I'm not alone.. its exactly what you've said.. It took some getting used to in finding these guys attractive, but now I don't even see the Asian in them, its just become a norm for me to look at them, so I've gotten used to it or whatever... WEIRD

I know.. My family is kinda "eh? how do you find these guys attractive?" I guess I used to think that way before, and really would point out the asian features on them. but I don't even see it now.. I want to hook up with one too XDDD We'll dream togetherI've just turned into an addict because I've never listened to his stuff before and I like the R&B of all his songs.. a different sound than DBSK for sure.. but like I said, his Japanese release was just not him I guess.. it wasn't his typical R&B sound (and it's probably because Japan market doesn't really have it) but anyways.. I've become a Korean music snob though.. I'd rather listen to someone from Korea than Japan XO *shot for real* But I like DBSK's Japanese releases.. I've already been telling everyone about Se7en's upcoming American release though.. he owes me big time for the PR.. I'm crossing my fingers that he'll make it because many people have failed before trying to make it in the American market ( ... )

His japanese stuff would crash and burn.. the Korean stuff resemebles more of American's market.. I think that's kinda why I like Korean stuff though.. its closer to us rather than the cracked pop XD
