One year ago, when the clock struck 12 am, I decided in a fit of depression to go out and get a six-pack of Guinness and a pack of Winstons.

Not much as changed in the year. Only the liqour has gone to JD and the smokes to Lucky Strikes.

So, in honor of my fellow embittered persons, I take a shot of whiskey in your name.
