Seamus and I were going to take an early morning walk, so is around one o' clock all right? Of course you can stop by the sweets shop and bring it by and I intend on sneaking out some hot cocoa as well. I've been working on some experiments with certain eyeshadows as well, so I'll bring some samples by for you then.

Hello, Vati. I'm doing all right - it's a bit odd here without Val around.

Thank you for the blusher, although Toyah's managed to make a mess with it in the bathroom and it's taken me longer than usual to clean it up. Honestly, eight year olds!! it's a lovely colour, isn't it?

Truth be known? I'm nervous. Very nervous. But we're all right; we're quite safe here I hope.

I still can't believe he left you at a time like this to go to Italy! I'm sure Visconti will be back soon, and hopefully laden with lots of lovely gifts!
I will write a lovely long letter for everyone there, and do you think Mama will send over my necklace - the one with all the cut glass that sparkles? Only I had this dream last night that I was wearing it with the Sari Papa sent me for Christmas and the clasp Payod gave me , and it went so well that I just have to see if I'm right and it does go.

I'm so glad you liked the blusher! I will speak to Lav and ask her if you can be some sort of official tester for us - because you can never have enough makeup, can you?
I have to go now, or I will miss dinner and seeing everyone again. I will send the letter in my next owl!

I expect Mama has no idea where your jewellery is but Aunt Vaishali will send the necklace as soon as she can. It is a lovely one.

I'll be happy to test out any makeup you wish me to. Sometimes we run out of paints for Toyah so that'd work out well.
