the holidays are always a bittersweet time for me.

when i was 8 my nana died the day after christmas... yesterday was the 9 year anniversary of that event. i went to the cemetary and dropped off flowers for her and my grandpa...

the holidays aren't the same without them.

my grandmother died a week or so after thanksgiving three years ago. i think about her everyday. i guess you could say i at least sympathize with your bittersweet feeling about the holidays. i haven't truly enjoyed a holiday in a good while.
