 I clean my bathroom sink with harsh chemicals.  It gets a ring around the drain that seems to only come off with a thorough bleach soaking.  The cat likes to be in my sink.

Simple solution for ick in sink, Make up a paste of bicarb and vinegar. scrub and it should come clean some as for shower glass. Evidently it will clean the drains out too

I don't do vinegar, but thanks for the solution. I just close the door, let it sit while I do other chores, then clean the bathroom as usual.

What is up with the vinegar? It rocks. Having a fur critter and the fact i hate chemicals i use this method. I wish i could show you the before and after of the tub (there lived a girl here that dyed her hair black and every now and then the marks creeps out)

I hate vinegar. And the critter is a temporary situation. It actually doesn't even belong to anyone that lives in this apartment.

I like cats too... When they live outside. We never had indoor animals growing up so even though I've been living with these two animals for a year now I'm still not used to it and frequently become irritated that they make the apartment smelly.
