When he turns to walk back up the beach, he thinks his dreams have begun to spill into his patrolling. A burst of comm noise that he can't make out joins the splash that he just heard, and Dick's off at a dead run, stopping just long enough to pull the maglite out of his boot and flash it a few times to give whoever it is a direction to swim. "Over here!"

If he's wrong, he's got a limited window to find her. If she doesn't surface in one minute, he'll have to go in after her. If she does... Dick stills, listens, and watches. Ready, in case she wants a fight.

Either way, she's feeling a lot more confident now that she has a plan. If she could just get him into the ocean with her, she'd probably have the upper hand. She's pretty damn good at fighting in the water, and for that she says a silent thanks to Wildcat. Ted always did believe in training for every possible contingency.
