I'm soo sleepy right now, of course I was up like the rest of the country awaiting the election results. The one thing that's making me very uneasy this morning, is the fact that I've heard a few of our white guests saying that Barack Obama won because black people finally deciding to vote. I think that the biggest thing among Republicans and/or whites is not that he is black, but that it is very clear who voted for him BECAUSE he is black, and not because of his issues/policies. That's upsetting. But then again, I'm not naive enough to know that there is a fair amount of people who DIDN'T vote for him because he's black as well.

I can understand the history that was made (I'm half black myself) but it still makes be angry to see/hear ignorant people who know nothing about politics and didn't take the time to educate themselves on the election and ended up voting based on race alone.
